Well, if the current yoga-pants-clad pracitioners of twerking were to go back and embrace the classic acoutrements of satin, spangles and feathered fans, maybe there'd be some hope for them. I'd offer a YT clip that resonates in some way, but my database of dance clips is not well populated, and anything I can think of would only pale in comparison. OK, this doesn't match up perfectly, but in case you haven't seen it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq3lCOIY9I8

Did I ever send you a long email that encompasses Dorothy Dandridge and The Yardbirds and a bunch of others that did The Train Kept Rolling? Yes! I got this video in an email with a few more versions of the song- all pretty darn great!

You know, I’ve seen about a lifetime’s worth of burlesque, working late night entertainment halls and hosting variety shows, but the ones that are good that rise to the top can be very sedective and fun!

Thanks, T! Don’t know how you manage to read all the stacks you do, but incredibly honored that you take a gander at my theatre company’s stuff. 🙏

I was roasting salmon cubes in maple, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger. I was glad for the voice-over to the mime, and the 4-part harmonies!

And I'm just finishing up the stack to go with my video When God Was a Woman. Just in time for Easter ;-)

I think I've read enough jokes about it that I could have read it instead, but I don't think I have.
